Tenant Support Worker Job

Giroscope Housing Organisation is looking for a motivated individual committed to supporting vulnerable people in the City of Hull.

You will be primarily based in West Hull and will ensure that the tenancies provided by Giroscope are allocated correctly and sustained.

You will have the support of colleagues who share your skill, enthusiasm and motivation. Your work may be challenging, but always stimulating and rewarding.

If you are professional, friendly, caring and supportive and eager to train and develop your skills, we would like to hear from you. We would also like to hear from you if you’ve already had experience of working in a similar job.

 

Tenant Support Worker

37.5 hours/week (will consider part-time/job share)

£18,000 - £20,000 per annum (depending on experience/skills)

Based at our Coltman Street Office, HU3 2SJ

Closing Date:                    Friday, 12th May 2017 at 17.00

Interview Date:                Week beginning 22nd May 2017

Giroscope is pleased to have supported Hull’s successful bid to be UK City of Culture 2017.  We hope that this award will help to bring inward investment into the City and help get Hull recognised as a modern, diverse City and a great place to live.

Giroscope has recently received some funding from the Princes Trust to purchase tools for two of our younger workers.  Will, one of our volunteers has now secured employment as a self-employed joiner.  Steven will use his tools working as Giroscope’s latest apprentice recruit.  Many thanks to the Princes Trust for their continued support.
